With the Department of Energy (DOE) and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) advocacy to sustain and strengthen the use of renewable energy in the country, the Grade 12 STEM students were boosted with new knowledge on the new trends on alternative fuels and emerging energy technologies last March 31, 2023. The team of Energy Utilization Management Bureau actively interacted with the students as they have positively reinforced the event with exciting ideas and lots of prizes and freebies. Mr. John Kevin H. Paris provided the overview on the Alternative Fuels and Energy Technology (AFET) Program while Ms. Karoline P. De Vera highlighted the new and emerging energy technologies.

The STEM students were very immersed as they raised relative questions to satisfy their curiosity. Mr. Ashley F. Rivera focused his talk on the E – mobility Development which a lot of students associated their experience when it comes to the topic of public transportation. Mr. Vic Anthony P. Cariola concluded the campaign on a positive note by giving the tips on Smart Energy Use. Dr. Mark Anthony F. Familaran, Assistant Principal II and representing the Senior High School gave his closing remarks with heartfelt gratitude to the efforts of the team for a successful campaign.
